getting used

how soon we get used to things 

what seemed interminable has become enjoyable

and it is with a slight twinge 

that I welcome the start of all things 

normal,  almost 

I will buy soil and pots to continue my love of gardening 

I will buy tea leaves for my sanity

will we do things we started in this precious time

spend time at home with the small ones

play dog and the bone

one can hope

the magic toilet by Aishwarya saravanan

Once there were two sister who grew up to be mothers. One was Anasthesia and Asthenesia. 

Anasthesia was very cruel to her 4 children. She said they were orphans whom she was looking after. She would cane them every morning and wouldget angry for every small things. She said they were orphans because the kids knew how kind  mum should be to her children. She wanted to be mean to her children so called them orphans. 

Asthenesia was kind and loving to her children. She took good care of all 4 of them. She loved them very very much! 

One day anesthesia'a kids three a pillow at a cupboard. Nothing got broken but anesthesia got very angry. So she took them to asthenesia's home and said please take these orphans off me! 

Asthenesia knew these were Anathesia's own children. She told the kids this is your mum. She is very mean to you. Telling you that you are orphans. 

The kids were horrified and fled into asthenesia's house. They lived happily there for awhile. 

Asthenesia sent her own kids to Anesthesia's house to check if Anesthesia would be mean to her kids too. 

Anesthesia was awful to those kids too. So the kids decided to run away. They ran to their own house and gathered the other 4 kids too. Then us 8 will run away and live happily ever after 

They found a tree. On top of the tree there was a ladder. On top of the ladder there was a house. In the house there was a cup board.  In the cupboard there were 2 toilets. All the 8 kids wanted to use the toilet. They used it 2 at a time. The youngest went on to the magic toilet. The older girl watched the younger girl and the next moment she gasped in horror. A hand came out of the magic toilet and pulled the young girl inside.

blue giraffe

Something I came up with while brushing my daughters teeth

There was a baby giraffe born. He was blue in colour with dark blue patches  So different from the rest 

The others were the usual shades of brown

Mum thought he was cold and tried to warm him up but he stayed blue

Sis asked him to rub against barks of trees and get their brown on him but he stayed blue.  

Then all the other giraffes laughed at him .he is blue blue blue

So the giraffe started crying boo hoo hoo

His tears fell fast and furious, giant tear drops and he started flooding the place. The other giraffes screamed in fright and asked him to stop he just cried harder and harder 

Soon all the giraffe were chest deep in tear water 

Along came a giant bird of paradise. With beautiful long feathers in every colour of the rainbow 

He said ah theres a lake here let me take a drink. He perches on a branch and takes a big gulp only to splutter in disbelief. The water was salty

Then he heard a wailing and a boo hooing. 

Asked giraffe what was the matter 

Told him he knew a place with many coloured giraffes 

Baby giraffe happy said please take me 

Didnt even say bye to mummy and sister 

But very slow for the bird

Bird tried to carry him couldnt

Nearly gave up 

Then a whole host of birds turned up. They lifted him up and he lay on the wings like a purple magic carpet 

Flew to the place with colourful giraffes 

Very happy 

Possible ending one

Missed his mum. Sends a letter home that he safe with his kind 

Possible ending two 

The birds are not kind. Sinister. They eat colourful giraffes to get their feathers in their colours
