The eagles and the turtle - by akshaya

Akshaya's story: with a little bit of magic " "just like Enid Blyton"

Once there were a pair of eagles and a pair of turtles who were friends and who both wanted kids very much. The eagles prayed to all the eagle gods and all their eagle friends prayed for them too 

Soon a baby eagle and a baby turtle were both born! And they were great friends and the eagle could swim and the turtle could fly and they grew up in eac others houses.

About akshaya and ashwin! And now our new baby... 

Appa and Aatha wanted a baby very much. So we prayed and prayed and prayed. Went to so many temples. 

 So many people prayed for us too. God saw us and thought oh they want a baby but I want to give them my most special ones. So god waited and waited for the perfect star to be ready and for Appa and Aatha to be ready too. Then he took his most beautiful perfect little baby star in the sky and put it in aatha's womb- that star is akshaya! Two years later another star- the first star in the evening sky- he put that special star in the womb again so akshaya would have company- and then two years later another beautiful star is born to keep both akshaya and ashwin company- and so god blessed Appa and Aatha with three of his most precious beautiful stars in the sky . They pray to god everyday now to thank Him for his blessings and for help to protect them and bring them up well.

Boy and the moon

A little boy looked up wistfully at the moon, wanting to play in it. 

Suddenly he grabbed his umbrella and pointed it to the moon and he started flying up! Such a joy - he sped through clouds and landed on the moon. The moon laughed and played with him. Then it was time to go home 

- darn! Should have written this story down when I first thought of it! Cent recall the details now!
